All over the world, garment makers process fabrics with SEACELL or SMARTCEL into finished textiles for a wide range of applications.

SEACELL or SMARTCEL can be used in all textiles: Sportswear, loungewear, yoga, underwear, socks, trousers, leggings, T-shirts, shirts, knitted jumpers, bed linen, mattresses, towels, cosmetic pads, hygiene articles, cosmetic articles, shoes.

SEACELL gives a textile a very soft and pleasant feel. The algae in SEACELL is rich in vitamins, amino acids, minerals. The fibres have an antioxidant effect even in the finished textile, are skin-friendly and breathable.

The incorporated zinc oxide in SMARTCEL gives textiles special functions: they are antibacterial, offer UV sun protection, are effective against mites, mould, fungi. SMARTCEL is very skin-friendly and has shown a positive effect in clinical studies for people with eczema, allergies and skin diseases.

Yes, each function has been confirmed by internationally recognised laboratories and university clinics.

SEACELL or SMARTCEL can be combined with all other fibres in yarn, or with yarns and filaments in woven or knitted fabric.

To achieve the appropriate function of SEACELL in a textile, at least 20-25% SEACELL should be contained in the finished textile.

To achieve the appropriate function of SMARTCEL in a textile, at least 10-15% SMARTCEL should be present in the finished textile.

We will gladly provide you with an analysis form. Please fill it out and send it, together with the yarn, fabric, knit or finished textile, to the address given.

Each fibre contains a marker, or its own DNA. These characteristics are used to confirm the content of SEACELL or SMARTCEL in the textile. After passing the test, a certificate is issued.

After passing the certification of the textiles, SMARTFIBER offers a trademark agreement which allows the use of logos.

Once the textiles have been certified and the trademark agreement has been executed, SMARTFIBER will provide hang tags.

No, SEACELL or SMARTCEL is not used for leather replacement.
